Further clarification

Appellants may submit further clarification regarding a pending appeal until the matter has been decided. It is recommended to submit further clarification as soon as possible after the date of filing to avoid delaying the process. It is also recommended to send further clarification to the insurance institution whose decision is appealed against so they can submit it to the Accident Appeal Board and issue a further statement regarding the clarification.

The Accident Appeal Board may seek further clarification on its own initiative. It may question the parties, health service providers, or other authorities, for example.

If the Accident Appeal Board receives further clarification that may influence the decision, the parties will be heard in writing. Depending on the case, a period of 14 to 30 days is usually reserved for statements.
